Have you ever had one of those dreams where you're trying your hardest to get somewhere or find something and no matter how long and how hard you look, it's nowhere to be found?
After checking my e-mail 100 times in a few hours time, I finally got one from our agency. When our coordinator called the committee, they said they were too backed up with dossiers "because of vacations." So in addition to fulfilling their everyday duties, they have to review the dossiers that were submitted August 23, one by one. Apparently ours and the Nine family's are not the only ones still waiting for review. Our in-country coordinator was told it would be at least another week. They told her, "don't worry, just wait." Our dossier has been sitting in this city since June. JUNE! What's another week or so?
All in His timing. Patience is definitely a virtue, isn't it?
Awwww... I'm so sorry Heather! I know the feeling though, sounds like the wait we had for our 171h. UGH!! Praying for you (and the Nines too!)!!
ReplyDeleteHeather even though I don't want to have to wait. I'm glad that we get to wait together. boy it sure is giving us some bonding time with eachother lol. I think I will probably never forget you. It's so good to have someone that so understands because we are going thru the same stuff at the same time.great big (((HUGS))) to you.

Oh dear Heather (& Katrina:), I know its hard to wait like this, but trust me when I lovingly convey that you all are blessed to be waiting at the point you are waiting:)
ReplyDeleteRelish in the wait, from a mom who is still waiting for FBI prints to even conclude our homestudy.
God says NOT to compare - but dang do I wish I was waiting at the point that you all are waiting - too!
It will happen sooner than you know and you will be flying off to meet them - it will be like a dream and your life will again be forever changed - what a thing to wait for:)
Oy.
