Confused about her name? It says "Anna" in the URL, the FSP button on the side, and in all the posts up until December. But it says "Anya" everywhere else!
When we first started the blog, we knew we shouldn't use her real name on it, so we decided to call her "Anna." We got used to that, and called her Anna for six months while we waited to meet her. Then when we met her at the orphanage, we learned that her nickname is "Tanya." So we decided to change her new name to "Anya!" We think it's pretty. Also, it's an Eastern European name and it rhymes with what she's used to hearing.
